Questions and Answers
"Outlaws and Lace"; got the name, of course, being Outlaws,as you see in the picture to your right.   Lace was added, because the Man in Black feels that it is time  for a change.  He wanted the soft side (The Lady) to be  recognized in the Band's Name.

Where do the Nicknames come from and why?

"The Man in Black"  Skip.   His name he sort of gave to himself.  With the help from his Bass  and Right hand  Man, Dick.   Many people said how he sounded so much like Johnny Cash.   Finally, he decided  to honor the memory of  Johnny Cash, and jump on the band  wagon.    He  is not trying  to look like Johnny Cash.  Skip is a Man of his own, which is why, he is the  "Man in Black".
Once again, he doesn't just sing Johnny Cash songs.  What color does he wear most of the time?  Hmmm!!

"The Lady" or  "The Lady in Black"  Pauline.  Her name was given to her by the audience. or Fans.   She started out as just a booking manager for the band.  Fans would mention how she was the softer side of the band,  "The Lady".   Eventually she was put on stage as part of the band.   She  also became one of the lead vocolists, with a lot of encouragement from the band Members.  She wore black quite often, especially when seen with the "Man in Black",  she gain the name  "The Lady in Black".

"The  Krystol  Kid", better known as "The Kareoke Kid"  Chris.    Chris is Pauline's son, she told Skip her son could sing, and was a very good singer.   She had no intention of Chris being in a band.  She was just proud of her son's talent.  This incident happened , in the development stages of Crystol Creek.  Skip, said  "Yeah, yeah, right."  One night Chris joined everyone at  Frank's Tree House, in Omaha, Nebraska.   He got up, sang "The Cowboy Rides Away".    Skip dropped his mouth, and said, "That Boy can sing, he's hired, my wife is fired".  He started out on a Kabooza, then moved onto the drums.   Hmmm!  Maybe we should call him the Karaoke Drummer??  What  do you all think???

"The Cornbread Crooner", Dick.  Got his name because he always ordered  Beans  and Cornbread, with fresh onions.  He is our Crooner in the Band.  The Lady gave him the name,  the "Cornbread Crooner", try to say that  ten times fast!!    Dick is also, Skip's right hand man.   The  two men become one, on stage.

"Thumper", Dave.  Got his name from playing the  bucket bass.   He is our novelity piece  sometimes.  To listen to him play , one would think he is playing an actual  electric bass.  Oh, by the way,  the bucket is elctrified

"Attitude"   Well, what can I can say, she was created by the Lady, and was born with the name.  She carries the band with pride.       Oh, by the way, this is Attitude's first Portrait .   ----------------------------------------->

We have played many different places.
We have played Casinos, arenas, Wineries, the Hilton, private parties, ball rooms, etc.
Dick and Skip even played on a side walk in front of a man's house.  He loved Johnny Cash.  The Gentleman was unable to leave his home, due to health conditions.  Skip heard about him and decided to do a special show for him on the sidewalk in front of his house.  He really enjoyed it.  That's what the Man in Black is all about.

Where do We Play?
"I heard the Crystol Creek Outlaws needs a drummer."
Chris collects Monkeys.  So I had to draw this cartoon for him.
